This course provides 1 hour of instruction in, an introduction to normal tension glaucoma. Risk factors, pertinent signs, treatment and management, and a summary of recent developments in normal tension glaucoma will be discussed.

Course objectives:
1) Define normal tension glaucoma (NTG)
2) Discuss similarities and differences between NTG and primary open angle glaucoma (POAG)
3) Highlight risk factors for development of NTG
4) Review findings from landmark studies on NTG
