Course Description:

This course is focused on the most common variety of glaucoma the primary open angle glaucoma. It dwells into our understanding of clinic management of POAG on the basis of evidence that is accumulated from longitudinal studies.

Objectives:

At the end of lecture attendees will be able to:

  • Define and understand limitation of definition of primary open angle glaucoma
  • Understand intraocular pressure and its importance in POAG management
  • Examining nerve for glaucoma and setting target pressure.
  • Review land mark studies and understand the clinical implications

This online course provides 2 hours of instruction in the epidemiology, pathophysiology, and clinical management of primary open angle glaucoma (POAG).
